.:The Fallen:. Chapter 3

Kisa's P.O.V
I stared out into the scenery, away from my mother of course. It's been two years together alone. And it's been long enough. I'm old enough to be by myself, and today that's exactly what I plan to do. And I'm not even going to tell that witch about it either. She wanted to go off and leave me again. fine, now she's leaving me behind. For good.

I shook my head vigorously, and started to run, I thrust myself out of the bushes, going straight through them without a sense of hesitance. This was the best feeling I had ever had in my life, and it will always be that way. The feeling as if you were in a sea of chains, and they were all strapped to your paws, but for just a moment, you were free. For the first time in your life. For the first time in my life, I was finally free.

I don't remember how far I had gone, but I wouldn't say it was too far. But I heard someone from behind call out something to me, causing me to stop in my tracks, I whipped my head around to see who could have been calling me. I was in the middle of nowhere, I was surprised this place even had someone living in  it.

He barked loudly " Hey! You there, Stop right where your standing! you are not allowed any further then here!"

When I gazed over to him, I almost though he was joking. He had fur the color of dirt, and eyes the color of a sunset, and his tail curled over his back..? That's probably the weirdest thing I've ever seen…Aside from the human object on his neck…It was the thing humans wear in the loops of their pants sometimes.

Aside from how strange he was, I wasn't going to let some stranger show me up. I was getting far away from here, and he wasn't going to force me to go back. I glared at him hatefully and snapped my jaw loudly

"Who are you?, No, Just who do you think you are? Trying to stop me! I'm getting through whether you like it or not flea bag!"

He seemed surprised on how I had replied to him, but he didn't stop approaching me.
" Man, calm down darlin', I was just kidding. Its just for show."

I tilted my head, but I kept my guard up, "Don't call me that! And for show? Show for what? Where am I? Where are we?"

For a minute, he looked like I just asked him how many hairs I had on my back. But then he looked around

" I don't really know," He laughed "Im kind of lost.." He smirked, as though he didn't care.

I was really confused now, but the good thing is I learned one thing about this guy, he's an idiot.

I heaved with a sigh " You know most of lone wolfs end up getting themselves killed right?" I gazed at his tail, and his fur, it was a bit smoother then a normal wolves. "Are you even a wolf by the way..?"

He yawned " I'm not a loner, I belong to a group. And no, I'm not a wolf. I'm not really from around here, but that's another story."

He gave me just enough information, and just so little to tick me off. "A group? where is your group? Are they around here somewhere?"

I began to look around me, but I didn't see anyone.

He chuckled " It's on the top of those two mountains over there, over there is the HBH. That's short of Half blood haven."

I might have looked disgusted, but I didn't really try to. "Half blood what?"

"Half blood haven! Anything and everything born between two different species lives there."

I scoffed, then challenged him " I thought you said you were lost?!"
He blinked. He was sure confused, but this time, it wasn't really annoying. More of a chore.

"I lied!" She turned around and started to trumpet towards the mountain.

I slowly began to make my way the opposite way that he was going. I don't think I'd want to go to a place like that. But I heard his voice behind me again, and I flinched as I heard it.

"C'mon! Let's get going, I can't tell you're a half blood, I know how you feel, but trust me, this is just the place for you. You can tell me your name along the way, what you are a half blood of and I'll tell you mine."

I hesitantly turned around and trudged after him. "My name is Kisa, I'm half wolf and half  wolf demon."

I looked at the ground, when I normally told wolves that, they would have a spazz attack on me or something. Then run away with their tails between their legs. But this guy just nodded and stared at me like it was something normal for him.

"That's cool! I haven't seen another half demon in a long time. Do you age like a normal wolf? Or are you like, 1,000 years old or something?" He chuckled, So I supposed the last line was a joke.

"I'm a year and a half old, but I'll stop aging eventually. usually around 50..Time will go slow for me after that…But anyways, What's your name?"

He yawned again, he sure did that a lot. " My name is Kaido." He stopped and shook his tail, it didn't move very much, so it looked a little like he was shaking his whole butt. "I'm part Shiba Inu, and part Wolf demon."

I raised an eyebrow "Wolf demon?"  I had a hopeful look on my face, He may not be a wolf like me, but he was part wolf demon. So he must know what I felt like, controlling your demon side, and normal side. Sort of at least. I shuffled my paws, I told myself I didn't care, that I was only going to ask just in case.

"Do you have…anyone special back n the mountain?" I really wish I didn't ask that..now I sounded like I was in interested in him! Bad Kisa! You just met! He's not even that cute anyways, and again, he's not very bright..
He sighed and shrugged" I guess, It's kind of complicated right now between me and her."

I tried to get the subject off of the hard part. "What's her name..? What's she half of?"
He must of noticed what I was trying to do, because he looked at me a little funny, but he answered.

"Her name is Bippy, She's part Bobcat and Cougar…"
I laughed, and nudged him, I rose my eyebrows, making a joke would be the best way out of this.

"Going after all the cute kitties are you?"
He blushed a little and stammered " St-stop that..No! She's just nice, and funny.… Besides, I might not be able to have her anyways There is a prophecy in the mountains. and we aren't sure who it's about, it's kind of serious."

I straightened my face, and tried to get to the point, we were already walking up the path of the mountain, man was time passing by fast with him.

"What's the prophecy about?"

He looked up and spoke clearly " A demon with a neck of metal, She will steal the hearts of one of your warriors. This will be fatal."
I was surprised how clear the message was, but I didn't have a metal neck, so at least it wasn't me.

"That's really weird…but what makes you think it's you?"
He sighed as we reached the top of the mountain." It have could be anyone. And everyone may be just a little luckier than me."

Rule number 3, something someone says when they feel useless.

I should be keeping up with these rules better.

They may pose as useful to me one of these days.
